With over 25 years of experience in the spa and beauty industry, I have dedicated my career to formulating luxurious skincare products and creating bespoke treatments for spas, salons, and 5-star hotels. 

As an award-winning Skincare Formulator and Master Aromatherapist, I specialise in crafting high-performance skincare and wellness products that cater to sensitive skin and holistic wellbeing.

MY SKINCARE BRANDS

Over the past 15 years, I have created two luxury, award-winning skincare brands, each focusing on creating naturally healthy, glowing skin and using only the highest quality pure plant extracts.

From concept to creation, I designed both brands and formulated all the skincare and body products, along with specialised facials and spa treatments to complement each range.

PURE LOCHSIDE ORGANIC SKINCARE
Pure Lochside was my first brand, created in Scotland in 2007.

Inspired by the natural beauty and pure botanicals of the Scottish landscape, Pure Lochside offered organic, high-performance skincare designed for 5-star hotels and spas.

Winning multiple awards, including Hair & Beauty Guru, Pure Lochside grew into a celebrated line, known for results-focused treatments.

However, after facing difficult personal circumstances and taking on investors after my husband died, I was forced to step away from this brand I cherished.

COCOROSA SKINCARE - Luxury Plant Oil & Wellbeing Brand

In 2018, I created Cocorosa Skincare, blending customisation with carefully selected plant extracts, and incorporating two of Pure Lochside’s best-loved products.

The brand launched in 2019, featuring a small, concept collection that to promote naturally, healthy skin.

In the summer of 2024, I received several offers for Cocorosa’s skincare formulations and my expertise in creating the products. This opportunity aligned perfectly with my plans to relocate from Surrey to Spain, marking the ideal moment to entrust these cherished blends to someone who shares my passion for skin wellness, while continuing to collaborate and innovate in this exciting next chapter.

My Journey

I began my journey as a Clinical Aromatherapist, eventually moving into facials and skincare formulating. My early work involved creating therapeutic aromatherapy blends for clients to naturally treat conditions like eczema, IBS, and arthritis. 

My first product, a soothing anti-inflammatory blend for arthritis, became so popular that it inspired me to create my own skincare line. 

That blend evolved into the Calm & Soothe Body & Bath Oil, and Calm & Soothe Luxury Balm which became the cornerstone of my first brand, Pure Lochside, and remains a staple product today.

Experience & Expertise

I have developed products for prestigious spa brands, including the renowned ESPA Skincare, and Pure Spa & Beauty, and have created exclusive products and treatment experiences for luxury 5-star spas and hotels worldwide. 

My formulations are always ahead of the curve, embracing trends like vegan beauty, clean beauty, waterless beauty, and sustainable skincare, all approaches I have championed since 2008.

Throughout my career, I’ve been honoured with various accolades, including the Scottish Beauty Guru Award in 2014. 

My passion lies in treating skin conditions and restoring skin to its natural, healthy glow through innovative and luxurious formulations.

In addition to formulating products, I love providing honest, unbiased reviews of skincare and wellness products. 

For me, it is about how a product makes me feel as much as what it does, and ideally a product will do both - make me feel good and make my skin look and feel good too!

Based Between Spain & Surrey

Balancing my time between Spain and Surrey (although now mostly Spain!), I continue to develop luxurious skincare and wellness products, consult for spa brands, and share my expertise with those looking to achieve their best skin.
