SELECTED PROJECT
SOULSPACE RETREATS - PRODUCT & BRAND DEVELOPMENT
A collaborative project creating a complete range of aromatherapy and skincare products for use within a retreat setting, alongside a retreat area in a yoga studio.
The brief was to develop a collection that felt both grounding and uplifting - supporting the overall retreat experience while remaining practical for everyday use.
My role included:
Formulation of all skincare and aromatherapy products
Sourcing packaging and materials
Designing product labels
Creating cohesive blends aligned with the retreat’s ethos
The final collection included:
- Aromatherapy body oil
- Aromatherapy body scrub
- Face Oils
- Cleansing Oil
- Cleansing Powder
- Targeted aromatherapy blends
all designed to enhance both the physical and emotional experience of the retreat.
FEATURED FORMULATIONS
NEROLI CLEANSING OIL
Originally created for a luxury spa environment, this formulation has been carefully evolved to enhance both performance and sensory experience - with a silky texture, improved hydration, and a soft orange blossom aroma.
A luxurious, award-winning cleansing oil developed for both professional spa use and everyday skincare.
Designed to:
Dissolve all makeup and impurities without stripping the skin
Support the skin barrier with natural ceramides
Remain gentle enough for sensitive and reactive skin
Suitable for all skin types, including acne and rosacea-prone skin, it offers a balanced, effective cleanse with a calm, luxurious feel.
After 2-3 weeks there was a visible difference in my skin. I live in a cold climate that really dries your skin, but now it looks and feels much more hydrated!
BRIGHTEN & GLOW POWDER
A versatile, multi-functional formulation designed to cleanse, exfoliate, and transform into a customised treatment mask.
Designed for both professional facial treatments and at-home use, it allows for a tailored approach depending on skin type and condition.
Developed to deliver both immediate and long-term results, the formulation combines:
Gentle, refining clays for deep cleansing
Niacinamide & Vitamin C to brighten and smooth
Hyaluronic Acid, Coconut & Oat to hydrate and maintain balance
MAGIC 9 BALM
One of my earliest and most enduring formulations, originally developed for use in luxury spa treatments.
Created over 20 years ago, this multi-purpose balm was designed to melt on contact with the skin - easing muscle tension, soothing sensitivity, and deeply nourishing dry or compromised skin.
Over time, it became a best-selling product across retail and spa environments, known for both its versatility and results.
Formulated with nine therapeutic essential oils, alongside nourishing cocoa butter, shea butter, arnica and calendula - this luxurious balm replenishes dry, damaged skin, repairs cracked heels, calms insect bites and stings, and soothes burns - all while delivering a nourishing and silky glow to the skin.
I’ve tried lots of different creams recommended for eczema and dry skin but nothing was working and was actually irritating my daughter’s red, dry and sore eyelids and around her eyes.
Fi recommended her MAGIC 9 BALM so we tried it and it’s been fantastic. It didn’t sting or irritate and has taken the redness and dryness away. It’s so gentle and also smells lovely so we will definitely keep using and would definitely recommend. Just need to order a bigger pot now!
